I'm Misha Manko - an independent technologist working across research, analytics, and software. I spent the last decade in the weeds of technical SEO, schema markup, and content infrastructure for businesses in regulated industries - law, medical, finance. Most of what I learned was where the stated best practices break down in the real world.
Now I split my time across three things. I run independent research on how AI models actually read websites, publish the findings, and audit client sites against that research. I build apps - Shopify and iOS - because I want to own products I care about, not just consult on other people's. And I consult on the big, complex problems where my research compounds - technical SEO, AI visibility strategy, and content infrastructure for businesses that need more than a checklist.
The connecting thread: I prefer measurement over theory. Most of my work starts by questioning a claim that "everyone knows" - then pulling the logs, running the tests, and reporting what actually happened.
